Photos from the late 1940's and beyond include Gene on the air at WWCO, WATR, the Great Flood of 1955 in Naugatuck Valley driven by military jeep to higher ground at the WATR transmitters being the only station on the air during the worst flood in the area in history, as station manager at WDEE in 1962 receiving 'Outstanding Public Service Award' from Danny Kaye and Capt.
